Children of Shadow & Light is a sci-fi/fantasy crossover novel, set on a planet divided between light and shadow. The narrative follows Ace, a ti’gleus (or being of twilight), who is captured by Thewelneh, the future heir to the throne of Sth’kyia, the Realm of Shadow. Ace grew up on Earth, mysteriously unaware of their non-human origins. He believe is a magician whose powers originate from shadow and light. He doesn’t remember that he was promised to Thewelneh as a child, destined to be the bond of the future monarch. When Ace is brought back to Sth’kyia, the balance that divides the realms of shadow and light crumbles, threatening to plunge the planet into war.

Children of Shadow & Light is a queer novel that unravels fixed conceptions of gender, family structures, and fixed binaries. It is currently being submitted to agents.
